Sodium phytate is an organic sodium salt, white hygroscopic powder, easily soluble in water, its aqueous solution has a strong alkaline. Sodium phytate not only contains more sodium ions, which can be used as active dye promoting agent, but also has a certain degree of alkaline, which can be used as Chemicalbook active dye fixing agent. Phytate/sodium phytate is widely used in cereals, legumes and oil crops.
