is used in waste water treatment: as additives used in sewage treatment works to treat
organic wastewater, petroleum products, quaternary ammonium compounds, and their derivatives.
Trioctylamine is used in extraction of rare metals: it is used as extraction reagent in metallurgical
industryfor extracting and separating of the cobalt, nickel, actinium series, and lanthanide series, such
as molybdeum, vanadium, rare earth and other precious metals.
 

Trioctylamine Usage

(1)Used in extraction of rare and noble metal.In hydro-chloride solvent,it can separate Cobalt and Nickel,and is also used in extracting Wolfram,Molybdenum,Vanadium,Platinum,Gold and Copper.

(2)This product is also used in treatment of industrial waste water by complexing extraction,especially used in treatlnent of the water

containing organic acids and este rs.
