DTPMP is used as a scale and corrosion inhibitor for circulating cooling water and boiler water in water treatment. It is especially suitable for use in alkaline circulating cooling water as a scale and corrosion inhibitor without pH adjustment. It can also be used for oil field water injection and injection with high barium carbonate content.
