Isostearic Acid is used as a raw material for cosmetics and esters. Its derivatives, isostearic acid and isopropyl isostearate, have better performance than isopropyl myristate. As a fiber softener, it is used in polyurethane elastic fibers. Its alkali metals and ammonium Salt is an effective softener and wetting agent used in high Chemicalbook grade lubricant additives to formulate engine and gear oils and greases, such as jet and turbine engine lubricants, automatic transmission and brake device lubricants and greases in other industries fields such as tapes, food, medicine, plastics and coatings, etc.
